About the role
Join us as a Site Services Supervisor and you'll be a key part of the Greggs team responsible for making sure that our products are made in the safest, most hygienic environment.You'll work with a great, close-knit team, in a fast paced, high-performance environment where timescales and targets are important. As a supervisor, you'll lead your team to ensure that the site and equipment are kept clean, meaning our loyal customers receive the highest quality of products.You'll oversee the general hygiene operation at site as well as specialist cleaning operations including; canteen facilities, external site facilities and pest control. You'll provide management and guidance to ensure your team have a broad understanding of all safety, health, hygiene and quality procedures and legislation. You'll create an environment of continuous improvement to make sure we remain competitive.Working in a food production environment means that sometimes you'll be exposed to flour and dust. About you Ideally, you'll have previously worked as a supervisor in a similar environment. You'll also need:
13. Experience in managing, developing and motivating teams
14. To be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of chemical usage in hygiene operations
15. Knowledge and understanding of food hygiene (ideally, you'll hold a Food Hygiene level 2 qualification)
