Job Title: Product Owner: Global Data Academy
Salary: £33,300 - £43,400
Location: Cambridge, Hybrid
Contract: Full time, 24 months Fixed Term, 35 hours per week
Shape the Future: Join us as the Product Owner of our Global Data Academy – empowering Data and AI Excellence.
Lead the development and delivery of our Global Data Academy, a staff development programme aimed at enhancing data and AI capabilities.
About the role
As the Product Owner, you will collaborate with the Product Manager and various teams to define features, manage the product roadmap, and ensure the programme's successful implementation. You will play a key role in shaping and communicating the vision and strategy of the Global Data Academy to internal and external stakeholders.
In consultation with key internal stakeholders and our Learning & Development team, you will:
* Help define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap of the Global Data Academy.
* Define and prioritise learning needs.
* Determine appropriate learning and assessment models.
* Develop and lead the programme plan to deliver the roadmap, making best use of volunteer Subject Matter Experts, free content, colleagues, and suppliers.
* Develop and deliver a communications and engagement plan.
* Propose and deliver monitoring, evaluation metrics, and continuous improvement of the Academy.
About you
You will be passionate about supporting individuals to develop. You will understand the importance and transformational benefits for our staff and our customers of making good use of data and AI. You will have familiarity with learning principles within a professional context, ideally with experience of identifying learning needs and developing learning resources and interventions. You will have, or be able to acquire rapidly, a good grasp of data and AI competencies and awareness of emerging industry trends. You will possess a deep understanding of the diverse learning needs of individuals, ranging from those seeking basic data literacy to those aspiring to develop their careers in specialist roles.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and a proven ability to develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts.
* Solid written communication and presentation skills.
* Strong organisational and practical project management skills.
