Role Overview
As Registered Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring quality care for residents while creating a nurturing and supportive environment. You’ll manage a team of dedicated professionals, implement development programs for children and young people, and contribute to building future leaders within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
2. Recruitment, training, and supervision of staff to deliver exceptional care.
3. Development and implementation of programs to support the well-being and growth of residents.
4. Cultivating a trauma-informed approach and fostering a culture of achievement and ambition.
5. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Proven experience in residential care management, staff leadership, and program development.
2. Expertise in trauma-informed care and child development principles.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
4. Relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
5. Certifications in areas like Child Protection or Trauma Therapy are highly desirable.
