Job summary This role will support the Clinical Operations Manager for outpatient services in providing safe and effective care to the patients within Living Care clinical services. As a Registered General Nurse (RGN) you will provide expert advice to the clinical teams and promote excellence in clinical practice by participation of staff training, research, audit processes and taking charge of the outpatient in the absence of the Lead Nurse. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team providing clinical expertise and support to clinicians and consultants, nurses and HCAs in the formulation, implementation and review of policies, guidelines and protocols, providing training to staff thus ensuring we are adhering to best practice guidelines. As a general outpatient nurse within the Living Care clinical setting, you will have an integral role in providing mentoring, coaching students, and other staff members in the team. Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for supporting all services within the LivingCare clinical setting, involving services such as ENT, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Phlebotomy and other new services which may be introduced at Living Care in the future Include medication management, specimen sampling, supporting clinicians within a variety of services.
