We are looking for an experienced educational leader who is a strategic thinker and strong communicator to guide our school to its next phase of development You will be values-led, understand people-centred leadership while working in the context of statutory frameworks to deliver our school’s vision of excellence in Waldorf education that empowers young people for life. You will be responsible for all aspects of provision in our all-through (3-18) independent school – academic, statutory, pastoral and financial. You will enjoy and have a proven track record in delivering process driven change that delivers high quality education outcomes. As Head Teacher, you will report directly to the Board of Trustees and be responsible for the delivery of the strategic and financial direction for the school with overall accountability for all areas of operations in accordance with the strategy and policies. The role will see you deliver excellent outcomes for each pupil in their development through an enriching Waldorf curriculum. You will have experience in delivering success in the education sector, promoting a strong school community of parents, staff and Trustees. Being a central figure in the school community, you will forge strong working relationships and positively promote the school locally and further afield. You will be a confident role model to staff and students and create an outward looking school that strives for excellence. Requirements Nationally recognised teaching qualification A university degree Demonstrable senior leadership experience in leading 3-18 years education Proven leadership skills that motivate and nurture staff and pupils to reach their full potential. Resilience at all levels and challenged to move towards or sustain excellence Excellent financial management Experience in Waldorf education is preferred but not required.
