Hi. We are looking for talented individuals who can join our teams for two different roles within the company:
ELECTRICIAN
POSITION PURPOSE
The Solar Engineer is responsible for providing innovative and comprehensive solutions in design engineering for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects. Solar engineers work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
DUTIES, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work closely with Sales and Engineering to offer the best solution for each project. Complete Helioscope design requests from Sales and Engineering. Experience with open solar is preferred but not required.
* Complete interconnection drawings, single line diagrams, bid sets, construction sets, and as-built drawings for all solar projects. Work with utility companies on project coordination.
* Work with the internal Operations team throughout project development and implementation. Communicate with vendors and subcontractors throughout project development and implementation.
* Assist our Performance Assurance group with system performance monitoring. Visit job sites for project development, installation progress, punch-outs, etc.
* Attend customer meetings and presentations throughout the sales cycle, if necessary.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
* 4-year degree or equivalent practical experience, BSEE/BSEET degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
* 3-5 years minimum experience in the solar PV industry designing solar arrays.
* Experience and knowledge on the design and construction process of distributed generation, commercial solar PV, and utility-scale solar PV projects. NABCEP certification is a plus.
* Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and solar modelling tools, including Helioscope. Experience reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents.
* Experience with professional oral and written communication skills.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year depending on experience level.
PLUMBER/HEATING ENGINEER
Join Our Team at Northern Renewable Centre!
We are seeking skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineers to become a vital part of our growing team. Our projects primarily focus on full first-time central heating systems, featuring stored water and unvented water vessels, as well as hybrid air source heat pump systems that work in conjunction with existing heating solutions like oil or LPG boilers. If you possess the necessary skills, credentials, and experience in air source heat pump installations, coupled with a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you. We welcome both individual applicants and established teams!
Key Responsibilities:
* Install full first-time central heating systems using air source heat pumps.
* Carry out hybrid air source heat pump installations alongside existing heating systems.
* Conduct testing and commissioning of systems, including balancing.
* Perform gas boiler servicing.
* Be prepared to work away from home as required.
Requirements/Skills:
* Proven experience in installation.
* Strong punctuality and work ethic.
* Knowledge of converting existing heating systems.
* G3 Unvented Cylinder certification.
* Gas safe registered or able to be gas safe registered.
* Proficient in plumbing techniques and the use of hand and power tools.
* Strong mechanical knowledge and basic math skills.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and assembly tasks.
* Valid commercial driving license preferred.
