Job Description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in South Glamorgan, who are recruiting for a Governance Officer on a temporary four-week contract, with possible extension.
The role offers hybrid working, with office attendance required 2-3 times a week.
The position is due to start in January with interviews being booked immediately, and the hourly rate is negotiable subject to experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience of servicing meetings at Board or Committee level.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Fully servicing Board Meetings, Board Sub-Committee meetings and internal committees and meetings as required, including taking minutes and maintaining action logs for all Board Meetings
* Assisting the Governance Manager to ensure that corporate governance and conduct is at the highest standard
* Coordinating and managing responses to Subject Access Requests and Data Breaches
* Overseeing and coordinating complaints in line with policy, including liaising with Heads of Service regarding responses and monitoring complaints performance indicators
Experience required:
* Servicing meetings at Board or Committee level
* Strong stakeholder and customer service skills
* IT skills, confident user of Microsoft including Teams and SharePoint
