(This is a hybrid role, and it requires travel to our Cardiff office at least once a week)
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our expanding team. Household has ambitious growth targets and continues to play a key role within the Admiral diversification strategy.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, with an eye for detail, and a strong awareness of our competitors’ products, who will positively collaborate strongly with the team and our stakeholders towards our common goal.
Main Duties
* Product ownership: being the expert and owner for assigned products, ensuring that appropriate systems and controls are in place.
* Stakeholder management: forming strong relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers, arranging regular meetings, and maintaining the product.
* Performance monitoring: actively and closely monitoring key performance indicators; the understanding of data is essential.
* Regulatory compliance: understanding the regulatory environment and its impact on the products, ensuring good customer outcome.
* Continuous improvement: maximising the performance of our household products while ensuring delivery of good customer outcomes and fair value.
* Management information: understanding the department Management Information and the impact changes have on performance and customer outcomes.
Specifics of this role include
The role covers our 3 tier household product as well as covers for boiler emergency, home emergency, landlord emergency, family legal protection, and landlord legal protection.
We are looking for the successful candidate to:
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Build strong relations with stakeholders, internally & externally.
* Be confident with data and MI.
* Have the ability to analyse, research, and review.
* Possess good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
* Be self-motivated, transparent, and able to prioritise.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Knowledge and experience within the Household and/or Product Management areas.
* A commercial mindset, aware of our competitors and the market.
* Be organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines, working effectively and transparently under pressure.
* Form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing Household Product in meetings.
