In your role as a Data Engineer in the Data & Technology & Practice, you will deliver media and data engineering projects for blue-chip clients. Using your knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. Google BigQuery, Azure, AWS), ETL/ELT/hybrid compute, APIs, analytics and data exploitation, you will produce architectures and drive the development for complex, end-to-end data solutions. Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders, you will design, build and integrate data pipelines from source platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta, CRMs) to data lakes, clean rooms, CDPs and data visualization tools. You will showcase your understanding of how 0PD, 1PD, 2PD and 3PD impact downstream media operations as well as the relevant data points and KPIs to drive marketing and media performance reporting. You will work with clients' data to identify gaps and reveal insights that lead to growth and change and empower clients to succeed post-engagement with clean, tested, and well-documented code. What You Will do Collaborate with upstream and downstream technical teams to develop integrations to provide a seamless flow of customer and marketing data from planning to delivery Create robust end-to-end ETL/ELT/hybrid compute data integrations Possess hands-on experience with two or more major cloud platforms (including BigQuery, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, etc.), data connectors and APIs and data visualization platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, Google Data Studio) Possess hands-on experience with two or more major Customer Data Platforms (Adobe RT CDP, Salesforce Data Cloud, Segment, ActionIQ, Amperity. etc.) Experience with Technologies and Processes for Marketing, Personalization, and Data Orchestration such as Adobe Marketing Cloud, Oracle Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Understand the digital marketing landscape and in particular the main KPIs by channel (search, social, display, CTV, affiliates, CRM, etc.) Provide advice to clients on architecture/infrastructure, platform and engineering best practices across Data Warehouse/Data Lake solutions and modelling concepts Engage with clients to determine the technical and functional requirements to develop and build robust data integration pipelines Define the data, reporting and analytics roadmap and long-term strategy for clients Create KPI/Metric Catalogues as well as BI findings and recommendations reports Build and maintain dashboards ensuring user stories and wireframes are created to make the reports fit for purpose Implement data management and governance frameworks to ensure data is available, correct and secure Who You Are 5 years of experience with the following: Data modelling in large complex IT estates, implementation of multiple data architectures and integration of Data Management/Governance tools Creating robust end-to-end ETL/ELT/hybrid compute data integrations Two or more major cloud platforms (including BigQuery, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, etc.), data connectors and APIs and data visualization platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, Google Data Studio) Two or more major Customer Data Platforms (Adobe RT CDP, Salesforce Data Cloud, Segment, ActionIQ, Amperity. etc.) Advising clients on architecture/infrastructure, platform and engineering best practices across Data Warehouse/Data Lake solutions and modelling concepts Communicating trade-offs of architectural patterns and approaches associated with technology choices Designing data models that reduce data redundancy, streamline data movements, and improve enterprise information management Working within the digital marketing landscape and in particular the main KPIs by channel (search, social, display, CTV, affiliates, CRM, etc.) Building dashboards and organizing data to deliver actionable insights Designing and presenting artifacts to clients in a consulting environment and/or digital agency with demonstrated track record of continuing responsibilities, creativity and innovation What You Bring Strong foundation in Python, SQL and Spark Requirements gathering – documentation of business and technical requirements Project management - identifying, scoping, prioritizing, tracking, and reporting deliverables and milestones Solution design Data visualization Strong bias for action; ability to create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Excellent analytics skills to constantly analyze customer feedback and data Ability to communicate with a deeply technical as well as low technology literacy stakeholders and customers At CvE, we are committed to actively building a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcomed, valued and heard, and is treated with dignity and respect.
