Job Description
We are currently seeking a Stock Controller to join our Operations team at our Skelmersdale site. As Stock Controller you will contribute to the success of the Skelmersdale site by ensuring that all Stock Control processes are carried out in accordance with the site policy documents. Ensure accurate stock control information is reported to allow effective reconciliation and full traceability.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Nights 18:00 to 06:00
Salary: £28,411 Per Annum
As the successful candidate, you will contribute to the overall success of the site, and will report directly to the site Depot Support Manger
Job responsibilities of Stock Controller include:
1. Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads
2. Monitor Autostore inbound delivery screen to ensure compliance with network KPI of loads started within 24 hours of arriving on site, completed within 5 hours of start.
3. Work with operational staff to ensure all issues relating to inbound deliveries are captured at source and actioned immediately or, mismatched back to the issuing site using the correct procedure.
4. Ensure, where feasible, in conjunction with operations, that cross-offs are kept to a minimum.
5. Any outbound orders that require rework are completed in a timely fashion and do not impact on customer service. And that where appropriate paperwork is completed.
6. Responsible for, in conjunction with shift managers, the controlling of any re-stack pallets and associated adjustments.

As a Stock Controller you will possess the following skill, experiences and qualifications:

8. Able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
9. Able to manage their own time to achieve daily targets
10. Must be a team player who is capable of working on their own initiative.
11. Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of on-site systems
12. Excellent communication skills
13. Able to work to tight deadlines
14. Excellent problem-solving skills and tenacity
15. Should demonstrate the drive and desire to progress
16. Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns
17. Experience of Autostore WMS
18. SAP experience desirable but not essential
