Job Description:
We are currently recruiting multiple Senior Wastewater (Hydraulic) Modellers for various long-term frameworks across the UK.
RPS and Tetra Tech have secured a £100 million framework from United Utilities to improve river health in Northwest England, supporting innovative projects and long-term water industry programs.
Our team, RPS Water Consulting, comprises Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts delivering Asset Management and Operational Strategy to water industry clients, with a focus on innovation and teamwork.
The role involves:
* Developing and delivering wastewater catchment strategies, hydraulic modelling, and analysis.
* Ensuring solutions are feasible and buildable.
* Improving tools, procedures, and processes for efficiency.
* Maintaining quality and compliance standards.
* Traveling to client sites or offices as needed.
* Leading project teams and managing client relationships.
* Line management responsibilities including technical support and staff development.
Qualifications and skills include:
* Experience with urban drainage projects, proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and GIS software.
* Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
* Knowledge of water industry legislation and regulation.
* Proficiency in MS 365 applications, GIS, and possibly FME, Optimatics, Python.
Qualifications:
* Degree in a relevant technical field; postgraduate and chartership are advantageous.
* Membership or working towards membership in professional bodies like IET, InstMC, or CIWEM.
