Service Care Solutions is assisting a Local Authority in recruiting a Practice Manager to join their Youth Justice Team on a 4-month temporary assignment.
About the Role: As part of a multi-agency team, the Youth Justice Service delivers high-quality support to children, young people, and their families. The role focuses on:
Preventing offending and reducing reoffending
Diverting children and young people from the Criminal Justice System
Supporting those sentenced to a Community Order or Custodial Sentence
Engaging with and supporting victims of youth crime
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of effective interventions for young people involved in the justice system
Lead and manage a team to ensure best practices in youth justice work
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to develop tailored support plans
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safeguarding requirements
Monitor and evaluate service effectiveness, making improvements where necessary
Requirements:
Proven experience in youth justice, social work, or a related field
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-agency setting
Excellent communication and case management skills
A relevant qualification in Social Work, Youth Justice, or a related discipline
