The Role: A Financial Controller position, with oversight of multiple business locations, they are actively seeking someone who is keen to make the role their own. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting - Preparing accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Budgeting and Forecasting - Developing and managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and providing variance analysis to understand deviations from the budget and inform decision-making. Cash Flow Management - Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure the business can meet its financial obligations, optimising liquidity, and maintaining working capital. Inventory Management - Working closely with the inventory team to manage stock levels, analyse inventory turnover, and implement cost control measures to minimise excess stock and reduce carrying costs. Desirable Skills: Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA). Experience of working in an SME environment. Ideally some knowledge of the construction industry.
