The BDCT Adult Speech and Language Therapy team are a small but diverse group of skilled therapists and support workers. We are looking to recruit a Clinical Support Worker to join our team.
It is an exciting time to join the team as we are working through a service transformation programme. The role would be ideal for an experienced Clinical Support Worker or Speech and Language Therapy Assistant with a passion for supporting adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.
We are committed to supporting our team members to progress their careers within BDCT through the development of specialist skills and by offering a wide-ranging experience. Clinical Support Workers are supported to complete competencies to assist with both communication and Dysphagia (swallowing difficulty) management.
We support Service Users with a range of conditions impacting on communication and swallowing. The Clinical Support Worker role is integral to the smooth running of our service and involves direct contact with Service Users e.g. delivery of therapy programmes as instructed by Therapists in the team, as well as clinically relevant administrative tasks.
We offer flexible/hybrid working opportunities, making use of tools such as video consultations and digital therapy resources to enhance our services.
If you are interested in being part of an innovative, motivated and supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
