Description We are looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team specializing in Finance for Cummins in Darlington, UK. This is a permanent contract, working 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday with hybrid opportunity. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Support month-end and year-end revenue close processes by efficiently preparing journal entries and completing complex reconciliations to ensure timely financial reporting. Prepare and submit intricate reports, including site VAT returns, year-end and quarter-end revenue SDM, and assistance with transfer pricing and patent box claims. Serve as an independent expert by addressing business queries related to customer pricing, shipments, and payments with minimal supervision. Contribute to operational efficiency by participating in complex accounting projects, identifying inefficiencies, and suggesting process improvements within the finance team. Enhance compliance and control by ensuring adherence to SOX regulations, strengthening internal controls, and reducing financial risks. Lead or participate in projects focused on accounts receivable improvements, prepare month-end reporting, and perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance team's goals. Responsibilities To be successful in this role you will need the following: Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with diverse stakeholders and address complex revenue queries effectively. Proficient in Excel, with strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and account management. Skilled in time management and prioritization, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Finance background required, with Oracle knowledge being desirable for enhancing system proficiency and process effectiveness. Qualifications Education/ Experience: High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
