Sales Advisor - Financial Services

Salary: £35 - £40k
We are working with a leading savings and investment specialist to recruit a skilled and experienced Sales Advisor with financial services knowledge to join their team.
Responsibilities:
1. Grow membership base through developing and sustaining solid relationships with stakeholders and work effectively with key decision makers at all levels.
2. Generate leads for prospective force presentations and events to build a presence within regional forces to champion the client's products.
3. Provide practical information and guidance regarding the technical and legislative aspects of Police and Police Staff pensions through in-person and virtual meetings.
4. Work with Marketing Team to plan and deliver promotional activity to generate new business leads.
5. Research and identify new business opportunities.
6. Organize your diary and travel commitments effectively and take responsibility for the wider Field Team calendar.
7. Maintain CRM system and ensure call trackers are kept up to date with inbound and outbound calls.
8. Build strong relationships within the Police Federation, Superintendents' Association, NPCC, NARPO, XPS Administration, Equiniti, Trades Unions and other Staff Associations representatives within UK wide Police forces to promote the client's products and services.
9. Support with other additional tasks as needed within your area of competence.
Essential and Desirable Criteria:
1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Self-starter - able to work on own initiative.
3. Passionate and enthusiastic.
4. Degree or equivalent education.
5. Financial services qualification.
6. Knowledge of police pensions.
7. Proven track record in a regulated financial services environment.
8. Experienced trainer and presenter.
9. Would suit ex Police Officers with financial services knowledge.
