An opportunity has arisen for a temporary full time medical secretary within Obstetrics & Gynaecology based at Bishop Auckland Hospital. Operating in a team the post holder will provide an efficient and effective secretarial and administrative service within Obstetrics & Gynaecology. It is essential that you have experience of audio typing and microsoft packages. A flexible, pro-active team player is required. You will also have excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to work under pressure and to deadlines. Main duties of the job Provides clerical support to Consultants, Specialist Nurses, admin teams, Admin Manager and Service Manager. Liaises with other departments. Deals with queries from patients, visitors and staff.
