HR Manager – UK & Ireland
Reporting to: Senior HR Manager EMEA

Spectrum Brands is home to some of the most recognised and trusted brands in the Consumer Goods sector, including Remington, Russell Hobbs, and George Foreman. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to support our UK & Ireland operations, based in our Manchester office on a hybrid basis with three days in the office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded HR generalist to play a key role in delivering our people strategy, ensuring alignment with our global HR roadmap and corporate objectives.
The Role
* Partnering with senior leaders and managers to drive the HR agenda, covering everything from talent and performance management to reward, engagement, and recruitment.
* Leading employee relations, ensuring compliance with UK & Ireland employment laws and company policies.
* Overseeing compensation and benefits, working with central teams to ensure we offer competitive and attractive packages.
* Driving employee engagement and culture initiatives, turning feedback into action.
* Managing internal communications, including LinkedIn posts, intranet updates, and company-wide announcements.
* Overseeing the local Social Committee, coordinating events, charity partnerships, and volunteering opportunities.
* Managing HR analytics, reporting key metrics and insights to the UK Executive team.
* Supporting and developing the local HR team across payroll, shared services, and business partnering.
* Ensuring compliance with HR policies, audits, and legal requirements across our UK & Ireland sites.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 7 years of HR experience, ideally within the Consumer Goods or FMCG sector, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
A CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent HR certification is required, alongside a strong understanding of UK & Ireland employment law, HR best practices, and industry trends.
You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation. A high degree of professionalism, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking will be essential, along with the ability to develop and implement talent programmes that drive employee growth and retention.
You should be confident in managing complex HR issues, coaching senior stakeholders, and leading cultural and organisational development initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
