Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are working with our client based in the West Lothian area to recruit an Internal Sales Executive on a permanent basis due to continued company success and growth.
Based within the Sales team and Customer Service team, you will deal with existing and lapsed customers as well as converting potentially new customers, developing a strong relationship in order to organically grow customer accounts and increase sales revenue.
Responsibilities include:
1. Establish and maintain customer relationships
2. Build an effective call cycle in order to maintain regular contact with customers
3. Identify opportunities with customers to sell additional products and services
4. Provide technical product specification, availability, and pricing
5. Proactively contact customers to promote new products and advise of product launches
6. Build sales quotes for customers including follow up and close
7. As required, deliver presentations to customers on products, mostly through online meetings but occasionally in person
8. Maintain sales pipeline and forecasting
9. Provide reports on sales activities and achievements
10. Ensure CRM database is updated and accurate
11. Deal with any customer issues and complaints, resolving them in a timely manner
12. Process sales orders, arrange returns, and send invoice and credit information to accounts for processing
Background required:
1. Previous experience of working in a similar sales, customer relationship development, and/or account management role
2. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service levels
3. Strong communication skills, able to build relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams
4. Experience of building sales pipeline and forecasting using relevant software
5. Confident IT skills including MS Office and CRM databases
6. Effective problem-solving skills
7. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
