Our Human Resources Service supports the implementation of the Council’s One Coventry Plan and leads on the implementation of our People Plan. Our vision is to be a diverse, innovative and inspiring place to work that enables our people to be themselves whilst performing at the highest levels to support the citizens of Coventry.
What is the job role?
We are looking for someone to support our busy Recruitment and Onboarding Service. You will be providing a professional service for both internal and external customers.
You will be ensuring that our customers are compliant with legislation, policies, and procedures. You will ensure that deadlines are met, and accuracy is maintained to deliver a quality service.

Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you need to have:
* Basic understanding of end-to-end recruitment procedures, e.g. advertising, pre-employment checks, issuing offers of employment and contracts.
* Understanding of how Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion apply to recruitment and selection.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good customer service and customer care skills.
* Good digital skills to use a wide range of computerised office systems.
This is a 16 hour post offering hybrid working.
