We are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Group Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team and drive business results.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring team performance, establishing category plans, negotiating with suppliers, and driving innovation throughout the supply chain.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the team to achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Managing stakeholders across the business, coordinating projects, and working cross-functionally
* Collaborating with internal customers to ensure necessary inputs for the Procurement function
* Maintaining strong Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), including contract and performance reviews
* Working with colleagues to bundle spends and improve efficiency for maximum supplier leverage
* Supporting and covering for the Head of Procurement, promoting the added value of Procurement throughout the business
* Ensuring safe working practices both internally and at supplier premises
* Identifying and implementing best practices for business improvements
* Adhering to and promoting the Procurement policy within the business
* Managing both offensive and defensive claims
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Indirect Procurement, project management, stakeholder management, and customer-focused work.
In addition, a basic understanding of maintenance/production processes and engineering principles is desirable but not essential.
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
