Beamish are looking for a Finance Manager to manage and oversee the day to day operations of the finance function. Beamish plays a vital role in the community, attracting visitors from across the UK. This is a unique chance to take on a key financial management position in a dynamic and inspiring environment. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the finance function, leading a team of four responsible for accounts payable, payroll, cash collections, and general ledger support. You will take full ownership of the general ledger and monthly management accounts, ensuring reports are delivered accurately and on time. Managing weekly payment runs, preparing quarterly VAT returns, and submitting monthly Gift Aid claims will be essential aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will support the Finance Director in executing system improvement projects including the planned future implementation of a new Finance System.
