Someone who can own the growth of this service line end to end by focussing on defining our product offering and go to market strategy, growing our network and our project pipeline, and securing and delivering new projects. As such you will be an experienced consultant who has operated across the water industry previously. BFY thrives on the strength of its team, and so cultural fit is important. You’ll need to be skilled at driving things forward quickly despite the ambiguity that is common in consulting. You’ll be adept at working independently within a matrix environment, drafting in support when needed from the wider team. You’ll be the sort of person who communicates frequently, sharing their intentions and plans to make sure the team stays aligned. We are looking for an exceptional individual who can grow and develop a client portfolio, therefore you will already have significant experience of the water industry, change, transformation and client development skills. Someone who can add strategic value to our business in terms of their impact with a portfolio of clients We want to hear from people who are experienced client portfolios managers, who have established themselves as a ‘go to’ person with businesses who are seeking support. As such you will be highly motivated and skilled in winning and delivering new business. You will also be an inspirational leader who will lead from the front, winning and delivering exceptional quality for our clients by: Establishing yourself as the trusted adviser, wise counsel or ‘go to’ person with senior / C suite clients, identifying, adding value to your client portfolio. You will also be responsible for identifying and developing new clients to partner with BFY Developing a go-to-market plan to widen our network and increase our brand recognition within the industry. Taking personal accountability for the delivery of the plan Scoping, shaping, leading and delivering projects. Ever resourceful and pragmatic, always finding ways to deliver exceptional outcomes despite resource or operational challenges Acting as a true thought leader, adding exceptional client value with input based on solid water industry knowledge, research, analysis, economic trends and understanding of the clients’ business. Providing leadership to our consulting Teams, nurturing talent, coaching maximising potential and managing performance to lead and deliver high quality client projects Requirements Your Skills And Experience Client Development is a way of life. You will be able to demonstrate your track record as a trusted partner with clients up to C suite and developing their accounts. Experienced in developing multiyear accounts in water industry in a consulting firm Existing strong network & industry knowledge centred around water & wastewater operations, back office, customer service, and transformation/capital delivery Consultancy skills developed through experience of operating within a consultancy firm. You will be an expert practitioner, a brilliant coach and leader to upskill our team’s knowledge and skills to successfully deliver high quality client solutions. We are less interested in qualifications – a degree is not a prerequisite for the role, but you will need to understand the tools of client development, change management, and project delivery for complex programmes / projects. Experience of being successful in a matrix environment, using pooled resource to deliver key outcomes Exceptional leadership skills to motivate consulting teams to deliver and sustain results, maximising talent and performance within the teams Deep experience, knowledge and relationships in the water sector with a well connected strong existing network at a senior level Benefits What’s on offer?
