There is so much opportunity to grow and develop. Through your training, we will be developing your management skills to give you the confidence to oversee the operational railway you're assigned to and the signallers who will report to you. What training is required?

This will provide you with the technical knowledge and confidence when managing signallers and their competence later in your career.
Following this training, you will complete additional courses to provide you with the skills needed for the operational and people management side of the role. Alongside these training courses, you will spend time working through the learning journey to familiarise yourself with your area, key interfaces, equipment and systems and policies and procedures. Training is anticipated to take between 18 and 24 months and once signed off, you will officially become a Local Operations Manager with you then able to take up available posts should you choose to apply for them.
