About Our Client
A brand new Accounts Administrator role with a very successful business based in central Guildford. This is an entry-level position and you will be responsible for entry-level bookkeeping.
Job Description
1. Provide administrative support to the Accountancy Specialists, including communicating with clients by phone and email.
2. Learn basic bookkeeping; record transactions including sales, purchases, income, receipts, and payments by our clients.
3. Ensure that all databases are kept up-to-date with progressing work and client details.
4. Maintain all departmental records (paper and electronic) in accordance with good practice and Data Protection standards.
5. Follow and, where possible, improve departmental processes and Company service standards.
The Successful Applicant
1. May be studying towards an accountancy qualification (AAT).
2. Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Clear telephone manner and effective listening skills.
4. Demonstrates drive and a positive approach to work, with determination and motivation to achieve targets.
5. Strong IT and systems skills.
6. Good time management.
