French Franks is an established busy business, serving simple fresh food & quality drinks made to order at our sites across the Island. This role is at our modern Newport Industrial estate site at St Cross.

We are looking for a key team member at our St Cross Business Park site.
Cook/Chef
Responsibilities:
1. Operate a single-person kitchen, batch preparing food to our recipe standards for the front of house team to assemble.
2. Setting up, clearing down, and cleaning as you go - includes your own pot wash.
3. Ordering and managing stock from approved suppliers for use across our sites.
4. Maintain standards and records for good practice and food safety.
5. Being an integral part of a small site team working to 'get things done'. This is a busy and physical role.
Hours: Sociable and regular hours - normally Monday to Friday 06:30 to 14:00 - some flexibility required (37 hours weekly).
This could be a role for a more experienced cook or chef looking for more regular and sociable hours, or a step up for a developing cook with a chance to manage all aspects of a simple kitchen operation.
