Day-to-day of the role: Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for KS1 pupils. Assess and monitor the development and progress of children, adapting teaching to meet individual needs. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development. Work closely with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive teaching team. Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong background in KS1. Proven experience as a KS1 Teacher, with a deep understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
