This 3.2-gigawatt power station will generate low-carbon electricity for approximately 6 million homes, providing reliable, clean energy for at least the next 60 years. As part of this monumental effort, we're seeking a talented and dedicated Section Engineer to join our team. About the Role: In this key position, you'll be integral to the design, planning, procurement, and execution of early civil scopes, such as the SSSI Crossing, ground improvements, dewatering, diaphragm walls, sea defence, marine bulk import facility (MBIF), beach landing facility (BLF), construction drainage outfall, and bulk earthworks. Key Responsibilities: Oversee section budget, identifying changes and producing contract documentation for commercial recovery. Lead a team of Site Engineers, reviewing Method Statements and Risk Assessments, and improving them where necessary. Lead Accident/Incident Investigations and field audits, ensuring control documentation sufficiency. Guide and coach subordinates in technical requirements and setting out techniques. Manage the production and implementation of Permits to Work. Ensure compliance through Independent Inspections and Site Audits. Produce stage programmes and monitor KPIs to enhance productivity. Solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. HNC/HND/Degree in electrical or engineering discipline, or relevant site experience in the Utilities/Construction Industry.
