About Us:
At National Pile Croppers Ltd, we are a leading provider of pile cropping equipment. We are committed to delivering excellent service and solutions to our clients, and we are now seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic team. In addition to driving duties, the successful candidate will also be responsible for fitting excavator attachments during deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate and drive a Class 2 HGV vehicle for daily deliveries.
* Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with traffic regulations.
* Conduct pre-journey checks on the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
* Fit and secure excavator attachments during deliveries, ensuring they are properly installed and safe for use.
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections and defect checks.
* Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Valid HGV Class 2 driving license.
* Current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
* Digital Tachograph Card.
* Excellent understanding of road safety and traffic laws.
* Experience or willingness to be trained in the fitting of excavator attachments.
* Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
* Previous experience in HGV driving preferred but not essential.
* A positive, can-do attitude and a flexible approach to work.
* Must be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.
