The Role
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategy, driving out performance, and leading a dynamic team within a critical framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and executing strategic commercial plans, managing performance, and fostering a commercially driven culture across the business unit.
* Working closely with procurement, estimating, and leadership teams to ensure best-in-class delivery and commercial success.
* Leading the business unit's commercial function, ensuring a high-performing team aligned with strategic objectives.
* Supporting the procurement function to develop and maintain innovative procurement models that drive the right behaviors and outcomes.
* Overseeing project and programme estimating models, ensuring cost accuracy and timely project closure reporting.
* Managing cost assurance, performance indicators, and profit/loss outcomes to achieve financial targets.
* Building strong business unit relationships to promote collaboration, integration, and value creation.
* Engaging with senior stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure commercial excellence across all aspects of the business.
* Driving the development of a commercially aware culture across the organisation and supply chain.
