Site Engineer (SMSTS) - Earthworks
Location: North Stowe, Cambridgeshire
Duration: 15 weeks minimum
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PMWe are currently looking for a Site Engineer with SMSTS certification to join our team on an exciting Earthworks project in North Stowe, Cambridgeshire. This project involves the separation and testing of soil as part of an ongoing development. The role offers 15 weeks of minimum work, with the potential for extension depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the separation and testing of soil materials on site.
Monitor and ensure the accuracy of soil testing procedures and results.
Ensure that the project meets all technical and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and review daily site reports to ensure proper documentation of testing results.
Manage site health and safety, ensuring compliance with SMSTS guidelines.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and laboratory teams for seamless operations.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate the delivery of materials.Requirements:
SMSTS certification is essential.
Proven experience as a Site Engineer, specifically on Earthworks and soil testing projects.
Strong understanding of soil testing procedures and techniques.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes and site safety regulations.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
