Finance & Accounts Assistant Yeovil £25,100 This role is essential in maintaining efficiency within the Finance team. The successful candidate will provide administrative and financial support, collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. Responsibilities: Process and verify sales documentation before entering data into the companys financial system. Manage office supply procurement and basic purchasing tasks. Provide coverage for procurement functions during peak periods and leave. Handle shipping documentation and coordinate courier services. Facilitate communication between procurement and project teams to track orders and relay updates. Assist with reviewing and maintaining billing data, ensuring accuracy in rental adjustments, invoice reconciliation, and account updates. Process and validate supplier invoices. Keep customer records updated across relevant platforms. Perform Sales Ledger reconciliations and support credit control activities. Offer administrative assistance to the Finance Lead. Assist HR during high-demand periods when needed. Experience/Qualifications required: Experience in an administrative or financial support role. Familiarity with financial processes (preferred but not required). Exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite experience is advantageous but not essential). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and manage deadlines. Proactive and self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset.
