The Post Covid Community Pathway and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR) Services in Bromley are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Specialist Physiotherapist who would like to be involved in developing these services.
If you are a Physiotherapist with respiratory experience, who would like to use their skills to work alongside the multi-disciplinary team, but also assist with service development and quality improvement, please get in touch.
This is a split post between both services.
Main duties of the job
The Specialist Physiotherapist is responsible for the day-to-day professional management of all aspects of Physiotherapy intervention to people referred to the Post Covid Syndrome Pathway and Pulmonary Rehabilitation services within Bromley Healthcare delivered to patients either in their own homes, at clinics, in the community or by virtual means.
The post holder is expected to be a positive role model and an effective leader in terms of clinical management, patient care, communication and quality standards. The post holder is expected to be a clinical specialist in their respective field and to provide clinical management, advice, support and teaching to all relevant personnel within the organisation.
The post holder is expected to provide a comprehensive Physiotherapy service to the patients referred with complex multiple pathologies who exhibit a range of physical, psychological, neurological, emotional, behavioural, social problems.

Qualifications
* Bsc/Msc in Physiotherapy
* Post graduate MSc in relevant field
Professional registration
* Current registration with HCPC
* Member of CSP
Training
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
* Practice Educator training
* Evidence of studying at MSc level
Skills
* Knowledge of Post Covid Syndrome and the effects on body systems
* Knowledge of Post Covid national guidance
* Car Driver with licence valid for UK and access to vehicle for work purposes.
* Use of electronic patient record systems
Experience
* Post graduate experience relevant to the service
* Experience of managing own caseload and delegating
* Experience of managing a range of respiratory conditions in the community setting, including the use of oropharyneal and tracheal suction.
* An understanding of multi professional care planning
