Hi, I'm Rhys, the Financial Controller at HowNow. I’m looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join us.
There has never been a better time to join HowNow. From recently raising Series A to signing our most exciting contract to date, we are on the precipice of something big, and you can be part of this journey.
You'll be joining our small but mighty finance team, where you will take on key accounting responsibilities, be able to have an impact in a growing business, and gain exposure to management reporting and other higher-level finance. Day-to-day tasks will include:
* You’ll assist the Financial Controller in preparation of management accounts.
* You’ll complete Balance Sheet reconciliations.
* You’ll manage 'Purchase-to-Pay'; receipt of supplier bill, coding to the ledger, payment approval.
* You’ll assist in preparation of monthly payroll.
* You’ll maintain our ARR schedule and raise sales invoices.
The key things that we will be looking for in applicants:
* You will have 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
* You will be part-qualified or currently studying AAT, MAAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA.
* You will have familiarity with the following tools: Quickbooks, Spendesk, Mosaic, Hubspot, HiBob (desirable).
* You will have experience working for a SaaS business (desirable).
* You will have a good understanding of the impact of this role in the wider context of the business.
* You will have great attention to detail.
* You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* You will be able to work well independently.

Our salaries are calculated using a SaaS benchmarking tool called (Figures). Happy to disclose upon application. You’ll also receive a 10% performance-based bonus on top.
Hybrid working (2x a week in our London office, Tuesday and Thursdays) and flexible working hours.
