Fairport Tunnelling Technologies (FTT) became a newly established division of Fairport Engineering Limited in 2021. Fairport Engineering Limited have now been acquired by pxGroup and as a result FTT has now become pxFairport.
We are an Engineering and Projects Delivery business specialising in the design, installation, management and consultancy of bulk material handling systems across a number of sectors, with specific expertise in tunnelling, aggregates and ports. With long standing industry expertise, our recent history includes successfully delivering projects in the UK, Europe and Asian markets.
The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a Project Engineer to be based at either our Sunderland or Adlington office. The Project Engineer is responsible for the scope, cost, integrity, and delivery for the engineering and technical elements of work on the projects. They will focus on the delivery of engineering tasks, ensuring that the task is well defined, controlled and aligned with the project, safety and legal requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
* Time served apprenticeship or NVQ L3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Knowledge of change management and process controls.
* Ability to interpret customer specifications, along with national and international standards.
* Experience with specification development and scope control.
