Our engineers carry out electrical installations within various sectors, including mainly industrial and commercial with some domestic. We carry out works across pharmaceutical and logistical supply chains and water authorities nationwide, with opportunities to work in the energy from waste and mining sectors among many others.
As an electrical installation engineer, you will develop relationships with site engineering teams and management at all levels. Our engineers have the opportunity to further develop their engineering knowledge, and progression throughout the company is encouraged.
Generally, the types of electrical installations carried out will consist of a mix of the following:
1. Steel wired armoured cable
2. Steel Cable Tray
3. Controls cabling
4. Trunking and ladder rack
5. Metal and Plastic Conduit
6. Solar PV
7. EV charging
8. Fire Alarm
9. Data/Security/CCTV cabling
10. BMS
11. Power Distribution
12. General Lighting and Power installation
13. WIMES (Water industry Mechanical and Electrical Specification) installations
14. Testing and Inspection
15. Commissioning and fault finding
16. Control Panel Wiring/Manufacture
17. High Level works (MEWP)
18. Confined Space works
Qualifications and Skills:
* NVQ Level 3
* Driving Licence
* City & Guilds 18th Edition
* ECS/CSCS Approved Electrician
Preferred Additional Qualifications and Skills:
* City & Guilds 2394, 2395 or 2391
* WIMES
* IPAF
* PASMA
* ATEX 01-04
* SSSTS/SMSTS
