Food Production Operative
Location: Drem
Salary: £11.75 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
***No weekend working***
***Temp to perm after 12 weeks for the right candidate***
***Own transport may be required due to location***
TM Scotland Fife & the Lothians branch are very excited to be recruiting on behalf of one of our long-standing clients based in Drem. Our client is a producer and distributor of raw and frozen meat products and has been an established company for over 50 years.
Our client started off in the poultry industry and quickly expanded their range to include haggis, black pudding, marinated ribs, and high-end products such as duck leg or pig cheek.
The company firmly believes in constant re-investment in their state-of-the-art site, which is at the forefront of new technology.
What does a Food Processor look like within our client?
1. Producing high quality fresh and frozen produce
2. Assisting with the packing of the product
3. Working as part of a team to ensure orders are fulfilled each day
4. Following all health and safety guidelines
What we require for the Food Processor Role:
1. Experience in a similar role preferred, although full training will be given
2. A reference from a previous employer within the last 3 years
3. Own transport due to rural location
4. Passion to succeed and develop further with the business
5. Excellent attendance
6. A can-do attitude
7. Food hygiene certification would be a massive advantage
