Job Description: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Sale Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £140 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher Follow the lesson plans provided by the school and ensure a productive learning environment Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students are focused on their tasks Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues encountered Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and age groups Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Previous experience working as a teacher or supply teacher preferred Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students Good organisational and time-management skills Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting Preferred Qualifications: Additional training or certifications in specific subject areas Experience working with diverse student populations Working Conditions: Work in various schools within the designated area Regular school hours with occasional extra duties or events Collaborate with school staff and support student learning and development All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
