Contracts Manager | Leeds | Up to £55,000 Package + Extensive Benefits | Hybrid
The Opportunity:
Ford & Stanley are delighted to be in partnership with one of the largest Train Operators companies in their search for an experienced Key Account Manager or Customer Relations Manager to step into a Contract Manager role.
The successful candidate will maintain the impeccable relationship with our clients’ external stakeholders/suppliers and play an integral part to the UK economy, allowing you to expand your knowledge and capabilities with genuine progression opportunities.
You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, demonstrating a commercial mindset with the ability to think and make executive decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing key relationships internally and externally to ensure effective delivery to third-party customers.
2. Ensuring internal production teams are working to meet the customers’ deadlines.
3. Conducting supplier review meetings, tracking and reporting on performance.
4. Responding and resolving any commercial issues which may arise.
5. Responsible for suppliers’ contracts and lease agreements.
6. Working with Finance to ensure financials and budgets are adhered to.
Candidate Essential Criteria:
1. An understanding and previous experience of working within Contracts or Supplier Management.
2. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage with critical stakeholders, internally and externally.
3. A commercial mindset with previous experience of working with Finance to meet budgets.
4. The confidence to face and resolve challenges, being able to make executive decisions under pressure.
5. The autonomy and initiative to conduct this role alone in the depot with strong detail and organisation.
