JOB- Workshop Manager LOCATION- Sheffield TERM- Permanent SALARY- £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience The Role: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Workshop Manager to lead and oversee the operations of the workshop. In this key role, you will manage a skilled team of technicians and fabricators, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest quality, on time, and in line with customer specifications. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, while overseeing the production of both standard and bespoke vehicle builds. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the workshop, including resource planning, scheduling, and overseeing vehicle builds and modifications. Lead and develop a team of skilled professionals, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. Ensure timely completion of projects, while adhering to budget and customer requirements. Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with design and production teams to execute bespoke customer requests. Monitor workshop equipment and machinery, ensuring it is well-maintained and operating effectively. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise during production. Who We’re Looking For: Proven experience in workshop or production management, ideally within the automotive, engineering, or manufacturing sectors. Strong leadership skills, with a focus on team development and motivation. In-depth technical knowledge of vehicle builds and modifications. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work. Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A strong commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace.
