We are looking for
We’re looking for a Stock & Inventory Manager to join our team and take ownership of stock accuracy, warehouse storage optimisation and reporting. In this role, you’ll monitor inventory levels, identify constraints, and implement innovative tools to enhance efficiency. You’ll also create insightful reports using Excel and analytical tools, providing valuable data to support client-facing teams.
What you will be doing as Stock & Inventory Manager
1. Generate and analyse routine stock reports to maintain accuracy.
2. Oversee inventory across the entire warehouse, ensuring all operational needs are met.
3. Design and implement action plans to improve quality, stock accuracy, and service levels.
4. Guide and support Stock Controllers, encouraging open communication and problem-solving.
5. Develop and enforce inventory policies, ensuring consistent and standardised processes.
6. Establish procedures to maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular inventory audits.
7. Investigate stock issues, educate teams, and implement proactive solutions.
8. Identify and resolve stock discrepancies efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption.
9. Monitor and address stock-related challenges, sourcing support when needed.
10. Work closely with Area Managers and teams to manage storage space and resolve issues.
11. Ensure proper handling and management of client stock, maintaining high service standards.
12. Undertake any additional duties required by management in line with the role.
Our Ideal Stock & Inventory Manager
1. Strong ability to generate, interpret, and analyse stock reports.
2. Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools to manage inventory data.
3. Deep understanding of warehouse inventory management and stock accuracy.
4. Experience in implementing inventory policies and best practices.
5. Knowledge of audit procedures and compliance requirements.
6. Ability to identify root causes of stock discrepancies and implement proactive solutions.
7. Experience in designing and executing action plans to enhance inventory accuracy.
8. Strong attention to detail to minimise errors and maintain efficiency.
9. Proven experience in supporting and guiding Stock Controllers.
10. Strong communication skills to foster teamwork and problem-solving.
11. Ability to work closely with Area Managers and cross-functional teams.
12. Capable of prioritising tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
13. Experience in managing storage space and warehouse occupancy efficiently.
14. Commitment to handling client stock with care and professionalism.
15. Ability to maintain high service standards and meet customer expectations.
16. Ability to quickly adapt to changing demands and resolve stock-related challenges.
