Syme Drummond are recruiting on behalf of an innovative and forward-thinking organisation for an experienced IT Systems Trainer to join their team.
This role offers the chance to design and deliver impactful training programs for key systems rollouts, while creating engaging digital content. Key Responsibilities:
Core System Training:
· Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs focused on core systems, including Microsoft 365.
· Lead training sessions for new hires and provide ongoing learning opportunities to keep existing employees up-to-date on system improvements and best practices.
· Ensure that employees are fully capable of utilising these systems to maximize productivity and streamline workflows.
Competency Framework:
· Support the implementation of the competency and assessment framework in collaboration with the Talent and Development team, Operational Business Managers, and Departmental Trainers.
· Develop and present training modules to reinforce the competency framework across the organisation.
· Track employee progress, providing additional resources and assistance as necessary to ensure continuous development.
Training Materials and Resources:
· Develop clear and effective training manuals, documentation, and user guides for core systems and the competency framework.
· Contribute to the creation of online training materials for their Learning Management System (LMS).
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
· Work alongside internal teams to assess specific training requirements and tailor programs to address them.
· Maintain close working relationships with IT, Operational Business Managers, and Departmental Systems Trainers to stay updated on system changes and technological advancements.
Ideal Applicant Profile:
· Proven experience in identifying training needs and creating and delivering engaging training programs for systems and processes.
· Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for a variety of audiences.
· Comfortable presenting to diverse groups using different platforms and mediums.
· Solid technical expertise with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
· Experience supporting the implementation of new systems or software.
· Experience with eLearning platforms and the creation of eLearning content is a plus but not required.
· Approachable, friendly, and able to foster positive relationships with colleagues.
· Well-organised with a keen attention to detail.
· Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond quickly to shifting business priorities.
