TGRC is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee substations projects in Swansea. This 12-month contract with a day rate of £375 is perfect for professionals with a strong background in transmission and distribution who are eager to drive significant advancements in the energy sector.
About the Role
In this critical position, you will manage the operations of substations in Swansea, ensuring that projects are executed to the highest standards, on schedule, and in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. Your expertise will help maintain and enhance the reliability and efficiency of local energy distribution systems.
Responsibilities
1. Operational Oversight : Manage daily activities at substations, ensuring operations align with project specifications and timelines.
2. Safety Management : Uphold strict safety standards, conducting regular reviews and updates to safety protocols, and ensuring all team members are compliant with health and safety regulations.
3. Team Leadership : Direct and support a team of technical professionals, fostering an environment of professional growth and operational excellence.
4. Stakeholder Communication : Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, maintaining clear and consistent communication to ensure all parties are informed of project status and developments.
5. Documentation and Reporting : Keep accurate and detailed records of all operations, including progress reports and incident logs, to ensure transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
6. Experience : At least 2 years of experience in managing substations or related transmission and distribution projects.
7. Education : Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
8. Certifications : Current and valid Health & Safety (H&S) tickets.
9. Skills : Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficient in managing complex projects.
