As anEnterprise Applications Architect - Applications /Salesforce at Mars Global Services,you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Salesforce ecosystemstrategy. This position requires a blend of hands-on technicalexpertise and thought leadership, enabling you to work closely withsenior product leaders and other architects to ensure ourenterprise applications align with our broader EnterpriseArchitecture vision. Your contributions will be instrumental indriving innovation and efficiency across ourorganization.
Whatare we lookingfor?
* Experience:A minimum of 10 years in enterprise architecture, solutionarchitecture, or technical leadership roles, with at least 5 yearsof hands-on experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, MarketingCloud, Consumer GoodsCloud).
* Education: ABachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or arelated field is required. A Master’s degree or relevantcertifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Architect) ispreferred.
* Technical Skills:Expert-level familiarity with Salesforce platform capabilities,including configuration, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs),integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware), and securitycontrols.
* FrameworkKnowledge: Proven track record in delivering architecturein large-scale, complex environments, ideally leveraging TOGAF oranother recognized EAframework.
* DevOpsProficiency: Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, andrelease management within the Salesforceecosystem.
* CommunicationSkills: Strong communication, teamwork, andcross-functional collaboration skills are essential for success inthis role.
* PreferredQualifications: Deep understanding of large-scaledirect-to-consumer eCommerce concepts on a global level with anAPI-first platform, and familiarity with modern design patternslike Microservices and ServiceMesh.
What would be your keyresponsibilities?
* ApplicationArchitecture Leadership: Define and maintain theApplications Architecture reference models, ensuring effectivedeployment and adoption across theorganization.
* Salesforce EcosystemStrategy & Execution: Lead the architecture anddesign of solutions spanning Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, andConsumer Goods Cloud, driving consistent configuration,customization, and integration best practices atscale.
* Governance Oversight:Oversee governance for Salesforce platform design, ensuring optimalperformance, security, compliance, and scalability across theenterprise; partner with InfoSec and Data Privacy teamsaccordingly.
* Collaboration &Thought Leadership: Partner with senior product leaders,business stakeholders, and other domain architects to translatebusiness strategies and requirements into scalable, secure, androbust Salesforce-basedsolutions.
* Integration & DataManagement: Collaborate with Data, Security, andTechnology domain architects to design cohesive end-to-endintegration solutions, ensuring consistent data models, dataquality, and master datamanagement.
* Project & StakeholderManagement: Provide architectural oversight and guidanceon Salesforce-related projects, from conceptualization toimplementation and ongoingsupport.
* Continuous Improvement &Innovation: Stay current with Salesforce productreleases, new features, and emerging technologies to advise thebusiness on opportunities for innovation. Identify, evaluate, andrecommend proof-of-concept initiatives to drive continuousimprovement within the Salesforceecosystem.
* Passion forTechnology: A strong passion for software design,development, architecture, and automation (DevOps) isessential.
* AgileMethodology: Experience with software delivery leveragingAgile and CI/CD methodologies iscrucial.
* StakeholderManagement: Proven experience in managing stakeholders atmultiple levels within large, complexenterprises.
* Hands-OnLeadership: This role will be both hands-on whileproviding thought and strategy leadership, requiring a balance oftechnical skills and strategicvision.
