Job Role: We are looking for a pro-active, confident individual with good communication and problem-solving skills. This individual can work with autonomy and as part of a team supporting each other.
Job Purpose: Accountable to the Depot Logistic Coordinator for the effective and efficient delivery of technical logistic support services to JDT's Operations Groups, including maintenance & calibration of equipment (including safety critical equipment i.e. PAMs) and routine on-site support to engineering teams to enable Operations Groups to achieve their directed targets, whilst ensuring safety, compliance, efficiency, and cost-effective utilization of JDT assets.
Mandatory Qualifications / Competencies: Cat B Driver License (minimum), IT proficient (familiar with MS Office systems).
Desired Qualifications / Competencies: PAT testing, SHEA Gas, Face Fit Operative, Emergency First Aid at Work / Basic First Aid, Fire Safety Face Fit (Qualitative & Quantitative), Ladder Inspection.
Training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver technical logistic support as directed by the Depot Logistic Coordinator (DLC).
2. Plan, program, and deliver equipment calibration service for Op Group Teams as directed by the DLC and in conjunction with the requirements of specific Op Group requirements (Project Managers / Team Leaders) ensuring compliance is maintained.
3. Liaise with Op Groups and external suppliers (of hired/owned equipment) to ensure required availability/compliance is maintained.
4. Provide, replace, and deliver (to sites) equipment as required/directed to ensure engineering outputs are maintained.
Additional Information:
Understand and comply with all safety regulations relating to the delivery (including transportation) of equipment and resources (owned and hired).
Ensure all accountable equipment is tracked/recorded/maintained on company accounting systems (i.e., Control Hub, iAuditor) and the safe keeping, maintenance, and accounting of all depot assets.
Maintain the upkeep, safety, and tidiness of the issued vehicle (including stores contained) provided for the role and comply with health & safety, transport, and fire regulations.
Drive in a safe manner following all driving regulations in compliance with company policies.
Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Uphold and promote the company image as a safe and secure driver while maintaining positive relationships with the public.
Assist DLC as required in the ongoing delivery of logistic support.
Contribute to and support a diverse and inclusive working environment for all employees.
JDT Salary Band: 7 - £28,000-£35,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications, skill, and experience)
Hours of work: 45 per week, Monday to Friday, timings to be agreed locally with Line Manager.
