We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team in Bolton, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual therapy techniques and experience working with Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) patients. You will be responsible for providing hands-on treatment and managing the necessary paperwork for MVA claims. Additionally, you will coordinate care for patients and work closely with their families to ensure comprehensive treatment plans are developed and followed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manual Therapy: Provide high-quality, hands-on manual manipulation and therapy to treat musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries resulting from accidents or other conditions.
* MVA Paperwork Management: Efficiently handle all administrative tasks related to MVA claims, including completing necessary forms, communicating with insurance companies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
* Patient Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough physical assessments to diagnose conditions and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, relieving pain, and improving patient function.
* Family Care Coordination: Work with families to educate them about the patient’s condition, offer home exercise programs, and provide guidance on post-treatment care.
* Collaborative Care: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors, physicians, and occupational therapists, to provide a holistic treatment approach.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards.
* Rehabilitation Programs: Develop and oversee patient rehabilitation programs, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
* Licensed and registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
* Proven experience in manual therapy and musculoskeletal treatment.
* Familiarity with MVA procedures and paperwork requirements.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Empathy and patience in dealing with patients and their families.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience handling MVA claims and working with insurance companies.
* Certification in advanced manual therapy techniques.
