We require an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 physiotherapist to join our established Pelvic Health Team within Forth Valley. The applicant will be required to run and develop the existing pregnancy-related pelvic pain (PRP) sessions, including follow-up. The team operates a robust in-service and team meeting programme.
The post will be predominantly based in the physiotherapy departments at the Rowans, Larbert and Stirling Community Hospital. There will be a pelvic floor dysfunction caseload but support and training will be provided. There are frequent opportunities to develop links with the MDT.
The successful candidate will have broad experience at Band 5, ideally with an interest in musculoskeletal problems, particularly low back and pelvic pain.
This post is suitable for an individual who has had MSK outpatient experience and would like to develop skills and experience treating a wide range of pelvic pain disorders. Support will be offered for training and courses.
The applicant should have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work well in a team, and be confident working independently. All posts require applicants to be registered with HCPC. Ability and willingness to travel through the area of service delivery is essential.
The post sits within the Women and Children’s physiotherapy department, and cross-working in MSK outpatients across departments may be required.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk.
