Tiger Primary School has an exciting opportunity to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant working 37 hours per week, 8am-4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3.30pm on a Friday. This role will be on a fixed-term basis for 38 weeks per year plus an additional five days. This role is fixed-term maternity cover, with a start date of 2nd June 2025 until at least Easter 2026, with the potential for extension.
The successful applicant will be able to lead whole class learning, support teachers, and build positive relationships with all stakeholders. They will have experience of, and a keen interest in, Key Stage Two, but will also be willing to cover classes in Early Years and KS1. They will also be able to work well under direction, use their own initiative, and be full of patience, care, and respect for all Tiger Children.
The successful applicant will:
* Have an HLTA qualification and experience of working with primary school children.
* Have GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths.
* Be motivated and able to use their own initiative.
* Be willing to be part of a team and to value all children.
* Be positive and will be a strong role model for our children.
