The opportunity has arisen for a part time B6 sister for a 6 month fixed term/secondment. This is a demanding role that requires dedication, positive attitude and ambitious approach towards change. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will work very closely with the Band 7 Senior nursing team. You will be required to develop strong links with all members of the MDT and assessment areas and ensure that patient care is of the highest standard possible. In conjunction with the ward/ department manager will oversee the day to day supervision of their ward/ department/team, effectively motivating, and directing staff to ensure that time and resources are managed through effective teamwork. To ensure that staff have a clear knowledge of their duties and be accountable and of the standards of performance and conduct expected of them during their span of duty. About us The department has recently undergone a refurbishment which consists of a dedicated paediatric area along with a Urgent Treatment Centre for minors and GP stream.
