The Role
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Leading advisory assignments, such as company reconstructions, mergers and acquisitions, share scheme advice, and venture capital schemes.
Managing and mentoring junior team members on large client projects and contributing to the development of technical knowledge across the wider team.
Acting as the primary point of contact for technical queries from clients and other advisors.
Collaborating closely with directors on business development activities, identifying opportunities to support existing clients and attract new business.
Building your personal brand to become a recognised expert in your area of tax specialism.
Expanding your professional network, including attending and speaking at webinars, seminars, and other networking events.
The Person
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing projects and mentoring team members. You should be confident in building and maintaining relationships with both clients and colleagues, acting as a trusted advisor on technical tax matters.
We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
CTA or an equivalent qualification (e.g., ICAS tax qualification).
Relevant post-qualification experience.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Proficient IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office.
Highly motivated and committed to ongoing professional development.
